Texline ISD seeks a high-energy team player to join our tight knit group of educators. As an instructional aide, you will provide assistance to groups and indvidual studetns to support their appropriate learning experiences and activities. This includes helping all students fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth by enabling students to develop competencies and skills necessary to function as productive members in society.You will assist teachers and other school employees with creating an excellent environment suitable for learning academics, good habits, and citizenship. You will assist with supervision during and between class periods, including lunch and recess.
Must but a high school graduate or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Must abide by state statutes, school board policies, and regulations. Must have experience working with students in some capacity, such as church, day care, camps, etc. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required. Must be able to work harmoniously with students, parents, and school personnel. Must be discrete, trustworthy, and abide by confidentiality of student information. Willingness to grow professionally. Will attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by supervisor. Will maintain reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Must be willing to travel on field trips and perform other duties as needed.
Texline ISD offers Texas base salary pay/stipend schedule. FLSA: exempt.
