Agricultural Sciences Teacher
Texline ISD seeks a high-energy team player to join our tightknit group of educators. As the agricultural sciences teacher, you will provide students with engaging learning experiences in the agricultural industry specific to our area. This includes but is not limited to livestock production and plant science. The agricultural sciences teacher is expected to train LDE and CDE teams, help with student record books and projects, maintain facilities, and encourage a passion for agriculture.
This position requires proper state certification or enrollment in an accredited alternative certification program. If hired, must abide by state statues, school board policies and regulations. Will attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by supervisor. Will maintain reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Must be willing to travel on field trips and complete other duties and necessary.
As per salary and stipend schedule. FLSA: Non-Exempt.
