OPEN POSITIONS

Principal

We are seeking a dedicated educator to lead our tightknit group of educators as our pre-k through 12th grade principal. We are looking for a leader who believes in courage, accountability, grit, and excellence.  This person must possess:

  • Integrity and exemplary moral character. Will maintain a climate of trust and respect.

  • A firm grasp of PK–12 curriculum and balance this with extra-curricular activities. 

  • An excellent work ethic who understands this job is both demanding and rewarding.

  • A willingness to work long hours and deal with difficult situations in pursuit of excellence.

  • A working knowledge of educational law and how to apply it in the real world.

  • A commitment to growth and training, personally and schoolwide.

  • A common sense person who will maintain a well-run school.

  • A willingness to make a commitment to our school and community. Multi-year contracts available after initial year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree in related field from an accredited college or university.

  • Valid Texas Principal Certificate or ability to obtain one promptly.

  • Principal experience preferred.  CDL and bilingual are pluses.

  • Must pass criminal background check and residency requirement.

TIMELINE: Dates may be extended if necessary.

SALARY RANGE: Negotiable, depending on experience. Opportunity for stipends, depending on duties. FLSA: Exempt

Assistant Coach for High School and Junior High School 

We are seeking a team player to join our tightknit group of educators as and assistant coach for our junior high and high school athletic programs, especially with basketball and cross country, and classroom teacher (some flexibility in area). This candidate will help develop our overall athletic curriculum to a competitive level with regards to conditioning, teambuilding, and skills. In addition to assisting with basketball, the coach will help with cross country and track and field. The coach will work with the AD and other coaches to implement schedule, meetings, forms, eligibility, etc. as well as effectively collaborating with entire coaching and teaching staff to bring the best out of our students athletically, academically, and socially.

The number one qualification is a desire to build good character in our students and work as a loyal teammate with our coaches.  Must hold proper state certification(s), teaching field flexible.  Must abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations. Will attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by supervisor. Will maintain reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Must be willing to travel with and supervise the team to different locations for games and events including overnight.  Other duties as needed.
